Are you confident enough to step into last 10 days?

Hi,

Another 10 full days to go for the exam. What do you think guys, have you evaluated your self to see whether you have reached to the level required? I felt that some of you guys might have not reached up to the level.

This is the biggest opportunity that you have got to finish off the CA exams. So, you should do it at any cost.

I believe on fundamentals rather step into final bit at once. So, that is why I asked you to do many things on some sequential order.

Being in the final 10 days from tomorrow, you must have written a Mock paper by now. At least try it today night or tomorrow somehow. Otherwise, you will be at a risk without practice the writing. As I said, it can increase the chances of failure than otherwise. So, please attend it before releasing the 2nd.

Further you should now analyse the different ways things can be tested focusing mainly on main areas.

Dont waste time these final 10 days. If you dont have study leave then try to get 2 days off this week. If any additional help required, please communicate. Feel free to ask any question.

we discussed during the class how it should be written under report structure. And examples were given. Yesterday of course some aspects of planning and time allocation as well.

You need to write a report to see whether you have an idea or not. Did you try Mock 01??

when doing main analysis in Mock 01,is it possible to repeat same information mentioned in impact information as advantages and disadvantages of acquiring KML.Pls give brief idea what are the aspects we should include.

Hi Lakmalin,

We need to ensure not to repeat unseen or pre seen as it is. It was an examiner comment in few exams.

For example,

Concentrate on few customers for 95% of the revenue is an obvious disadvantage. So,

what would be the impact of it?
How should the company resolve the issue? What are the alternative solutions available?

You can mention that it is high risk of depending on few customers as loosing any will have significant impact on the revenue of the company.
Then what about the options to resolve the issue (or in Mock 01, after acquisition what SPL should do to minimize the negative impact). So, possibly company would look for expanding customer base. Even while expanding better to differentiate geographically as it might reduce the seasonal variance which was highlighted in the pre seen.

Basically we need to identify real issue and the impact of it. Then we need to come up with way/s to resolve the issue. You may be supposed to analysed the options briefly as well.

when i first evaluate the mock1 in that auditors report was also mentioned in the main report we have writing..... Sir in this auditors report on purchase system already auditor has found the prob in it.... therefore do we only make recommendation in our report or have to be discuss in detail analysis also... if so how to discuss.... Sir its a big confusion for me sir.

As you said above we  need to identify real issue and the impact of it. Then we need to come up with way/s to resolve the issue and analysed the options briefly as well.
My problem is do we need to mention solutions and alternatives in the main analysis or in the recommendations.

If one problem has 2 solutions then to select the best one we might have to perform an analysis. After identifying best one from the analysis (financial or otherwise) then only we need to come up with the recommendations.

So, generally i can say analysis is to analyse and rec for rec and not for analysis.
